I has internets

aaa~ sunday~ I woke up at like 8:30 this morning. That is the latest I have slept since coming to Japan, it was awesome! I slowly got up and read my Calculus textbook a bit. Then I went downstairs and had a nice breakfast. Then I sat in the dining room and did my english homework. After I finished my breakfast, my host dad asked me to do my homework down there at the table. :)
As I was doing my English homework, this guy named Taichi came over. Taichi was at the nomikai with my host dad last night, he was a student of my host dad's when my host dad taught at a nearby high school. Taichi came over to install some internets (yeah, I clearly don't know how this process works... but he did it for us, so it's cool). Before he was even finished, I had to leave.
I was supposed to meet Javier at Ichinomiya station at 1:00. Yesterday, Javier invited Brendan to come with us, then Brendan asked if he could invite Michael. So I was expecting to meet Javier, Brendan, and Michael. Michael couldn't come though, and apparently someone invited Greg and Nick. Also, Shiori, Shiori's host sister, and Kumiko/Candace were also meeting at the station with the same destination: we were all going to the mall.
At the mall, we also chanced meeting (all separately, they came with their host familes) Xenia, Ethan, and Kodi.
So I thought that hanging out with the guys would be pretty cool.... man oh nam, was I wrong. First of all, some of them are kind of jerks, second of all, all they wanted to look at was video games! I swear, we spent like 30 minutes in the game section of toys R us. And then three of them went off to look at pervy stuff in the book store, so I went with Javier to some places I wanted to go to. Poor Javier was dragged around to cutesy stores, I felt really bad, but he kept saying it was okay, and he wouldn't tell me where he wanted to go...
The guys started doing a bit of a girl hunt too, and they were all obsessed with moe stuff. Ugh, I hate pervy guys.....
And at the end of the day when we decided to sit down for a break, they found a bench, and the four of them sat, leaving no room for me! The only one who would offer up his seat was Javier, but I had dragged him around all day, so I made him sit. Then when we went to wait for the bus, the same thing happened, only on a much larger bench. They wouldn't even take turns, like "oh, annie was standing that whole time while we were sitting, maybe we should let her sit" no, they just sat there, (except for Javier, of course) ugh, those jerks....
Anyway, I found a Miyazaki store at the mall that I absolutely love! I really wanted to buy so much stuff there today, but I didn't get anything, b/c I didn't want to waste my money... I'm going to be a smart shopper now!
I bought a bunch of stuff at Jusco, like school supplies, and gifts for my mom (the one in Texas), and then I got a gift for Clara at one of the cutesy stores I dragged Javier to.
Also, the shuttle bus that goes between Ichinomiya station and the mall was completely crowded both ways. On the way there, there was only one guy on the bus that wasn't with us. The bus was basically just full of girls. I have a couple pics of this, I pretended I was taking pics of friends, so that it wasn't too weird.
Also, on my way back, I took like a billion pics out the window because I didn't have anything better to do.
Oh, and we intended to take the 5:00 bus back to the station, but it was waaay too crowded, like we couldn't fit, and they only come every hour, so we had to wait for the next one. Brendan called his mom, and wanted to ask her to pick him up, but she didn't understand him, and he didn't understand her at all, so he gave me the phone, and asked me to communicate. I love Brendan's mom btw, oh, I forgot to tell you about that, well, here it is: After we met in the station, Brendan's mom wanted to walk us to the place where the shuttle bus picks up because none of us knew exactly where it was. Also, when she met up with us, she gave a little bag of pics to me, and another to Javier. They were pics she had taken at the school opening ceremony, she gave me like every one that she had taken that had me in it, and did the same for Javier. She wanted to make sure that my Japanese was sufficient, since Brendan had told her that mine was the best out of the group, so she was talking to me the whole way to the bus stop. She is really nice, and a lot of fun.
Wow, I'm really sorry, yesterday's and today's blog entries are really badly worded, and all over the place! I've been pretty tired! I promise things will get better!
oh, also, for english, I have to start this "commonplace book" where I write about one thing on my mind for 15-20 minutes, I start that tomorrow, I think, and will probably post those here, if I think they are worth reading at all.
Oh, and as always, for pictures, please go to my facebook. I will try to start including more pictures now, since I can now post these from home, but I haven't gotten used to it yet, so bare with me, ne. <3

Dag, Yo. Sounds like you are stuck with a bunch of crappy people (except Javier, he sounds really awesome, you should stick with him).
You need to get some Japanese friends!

Yeah, I'm really disappointed in the amount of interaction I've had with Japanese people my age (basically none). I mean I see High school students on the train all the time, but I feel like it would be inappropriate to just start talking to them.

Oooh you know what you should do?
Ask them what time it is, then tell them how cool their watch/phone is, and then BAM jump into a conversation.
They probably wanna talk to you, they're just shy ;)
