Kumon

I forgot something sort of important that happened yesterday. My host mom gave me a Kumon kokugo (Japanese for Japanese people) test. It was so freaking difficult, I couldn't understand a lot of the instructions, so I only answered like half of the questions, but I think I got most of the ones I answered right.
Anyway, so that level was a total fail, and my host mom ended up giving me like the very very beginning level worksheets, she said that review would be good. I have to read little Japanese stories out loud in a "big voice", time myself, and write down my time. Also, the first worksheets I got are like mostly kanji, starting with the numbers 1-6....I'll just try to get through these quickly, so I can start actually learning something. This whole reading in a loud voice thing is pretty fun though, I feel like a Japanese elementary schooler!
